REGULAR MEETING/BUDGET HEARING	8 AUGUST 2011

The Board of Education of Uniontown Unified School District 235, State of 
Kansas, met in regular session on Monday, August 8, 2011, at 7:30 p.m. in 
the Uniontown High School Library in Uniontown, Kansas.

Board members present:  Doug Coyan,  Matthew Simpson,  Eldon Luker,  Jason
   Sutterby,  Matthew Wood,  and Shawn Wilkinson. 

Board members absent:   Lynne Oharah

Others present for all or portions of the meeting:

	Randy Rockhold	Sherri Hartman 
 
The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by Matt Wood who then led the 
group in the flag salute.

Motion was made by Coyan, seconded by Wilkinson, to approve the agenda.
Motion passed 6-0. 

Motion was made by Sutterby, seconded by Simpson, to approve the minutes of 
the July 25, 2011.  
Motion passed 6-0.   

Rockhold gave a brief overview of the 2011-2012 budget.

Motion was made by Wilkinson, seconded by Luker, to approve the consent 
agenda.
Motion passed 6-0.

	A.	 Approve the 2011-2012 budget.		
	B.	 Approve and pay bills for $313,412.87.
	C.	 Approve Treasurer's Report for July 2011.

No patron asked to address the board.

Oral and written reports were given by Principal Rockhold

Motion was made by Coyan, seconded by Wilkinson, to nominate Lynne Oharah
as the Board's governmental relations contact.
Motion passed 6-0,

Motion was made by Coyan, seconded by Luker, to adjourn the meeting.
