REGULAR MEETING			 FEBRUARY  7, 2011


The Board of Education of Uniontown Unified School District 235, State of 
Kansas, met in regular session on Monday, February 7, 2011, at 7:30 p.m. in 
the UHS/UJHS Library in Uniontown, Kansas.

Board members present:  Eldon Luker, Doug Coyan, John Ericson,  
 	Matt Wood, Jason Sutterby and  Shawn Wilkinson 

Board members absent:  Lynne Oharah

Others present for all or portions of the meeting:

            Randy Rockhold   Sherri Hartman   Tracy Smith  Teresa Smith
	Brenda Armstrong, GEAR representative	


The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by President John Ericson. 
Ericson then led the group in the flag salute.

Motion was made by Wood, seconded by Wilkinson, to approve the agenda. 
Motion passed 6-0. 

Motion was made by Sutterby, seconded by Luker, to approve the minutes of 
the January 10, 2011.
Motion passed 6-0.  

Motion was made by Coyan, seconded by Wood, to approve the consent
agenda.
Motion passed 6-0.

	A.	Pay bills in the amount of $136,537.53.
	B.	Approve TreasurerŐs Report for January 2011.


Brenda Armstrong addressed the board regarding GEARUP Grant.


A written and oral report was given to the board by Rockhold and Smith   


Motion was made by Coyan, seconded by Wood to go into executive session
for a period of thirty (30) minutes to discuss personnel matter of  non elected 
personnel to protect privacy interests of an identifiable individual.
Motion passed 6-0.

Into Executive Session at 8:45 p.m.
Out of Executive Session at 9:15 p.m.

Motion was made by Coyan, seconded by Wood, to accept the resignation
of Julie Weyer and Jennifer Tourtillott as Junior High Cheer/Dance Sponsors 
for the 2011-2012 school year
Motion passed 6-0.

Motion made by Coyan, seconded Wilkinson, to adjourn the meeting.  
Motion passed 6-0.                           

Meeting adjourned at 9:18 p.m.
