REGULAR MEETING			9 May 2011

The Board of Education of Uniontown Unified School District 235, State of
Kansas, met in regular session on Monday, May 9, 2011, at 7:30 p.m. in the
the Uniontown High School Library in Uniontown, Kansas.

Board members present:  Lynne Oharah, Shawn Wilkinson, John Ericson, 
		 Eldon Luker, Matt Wood, Jason Sutterby and Doug Coyan 

Others present for all or portions of the meeting:
	Randy Rockhold  Sherri Hartman  Tracy Smith  Kendra Perry  Janet Jackson    

The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by President John Ericson who 
then led the group in the flag salute.

Motion was made by Coyan, seconded by Wood, to adopt the agenda 
Motion Passed 6-1. (Oharah absent for vote)

Motion was made by Luker, seconded by Sutterby, to approve the minutes of
the April 11, 2011 meeting. 
Motion passed 6-1. (Oharah absent for vote)

Oharah here at 7:36.

No patron asked to address the board.

Principals Smith and Rockhold gave written and oral reports.
 
Motion was made by Wilkinson, seconded by Coyan, to approve the Consent 
Agenda. 
Motion passed 7-0. 
	A.	Approve payment of bills in the amount of $128,734.42.
	B.	Approve Treasurers Report for April 11. 
	C.	Approve WBE and UHS Handbooks for 2011-2012.	       
	D.	Approve Athletic Handbook for 2011-2012.
	E.	Approve Negotiated Agreement for 2011-2012.
	F.	Approve end of year transfers as needed.
	G.	Approve Jean Cook's resignation as KAY Advisor.
	H.	Approve Malynda Tinsley and Peggy Mason as KAY Advisor for
		2011-2012.
	I.	Approve Resolution to Non-Renew Julie Weyer's contract for 
		2011-2012.

Motion was made by Wood, seconded by Coyan, to adjourn the meeting.
Motion passed 7-0.

Meeting adjourned at 7:53 p.m.
