REGULAR MEETING	                                   10 SEPTEMBER 2007

The Board of Education of Uniontown Unified School District 235, State of 
Kansas, met in regular session on Monday, September 10, 2007, at 7:30 p.m. 
in the Uniontown High School Commons Area in Uniontown, Kansas.

Board members present for all or portions of the meeting:  John Ericson, 
                        Doug Coyan,  Shawn Wilkinson, Lynne Oharah

Board member absent for all or portions of the meeting: Jeff Tinsley

Others present for all or portions of the meeting:

	Randy Rockhold,   Sherri Hartman,  Sandra Abati, Tara Gorman,
	Marianna Daugherty, Terry Nading, Lori Stephens, Ronnette 
 	Vincent, Trish Crystal, Mark Crystal, Rhonda Hoener, Lois Wright,
	Tracy Smith,  Jason Silvers,  Jean Cook, Jackie Hall,  Kevin Gleason
	Justin Hueston,  Shane Bradbury, Katelyn Vincent, Bonnie Rathbun,

The meeting was called to order at 7:34 p.m. by John Ericson who then led the 
group in the flag salute.

Motion was made by Oharah, seconded by Coyan, to approve the agenda.				
Motion passed 4-0. 

Motion was made by Coyan, seconded by Wilkinson, to approve the minutes 
of the August  2007, meeting. 
Motion passed 4-0.   

No meeting was held by SEK Interlocal 637.

Motion was made Coyan, seconded by Wilkinson, to approve the Consent 
Agenda.

      A.    Approve payment of bills in the amount of $130,863.84.
      B.    Approve TreasurerŐs Report for August 2007.
      C.    Approve Sally Brock and Lori Davis as WBE Site Council Members.
      D.    Approve Site Council Fund Raiser.
      E.	  Accept REAP grant of $22,395.00.
      F.	  Accept resignation of BOE Member Jodi McKinnis.
      G.    Accept resolution to fill vacant BOE position. (District 5)
      H.    Approve advertising vacant BOE position. (District 5)
      I.     Approve Alan Shinn as head softball coach.
      J.    Approve Paula Coyan as assistant softball coach.
Motion passed 4-0.

Patrons voiced concerns regarding the softball program.  Oral and written
presentation was made by Justin Hueston requesting permission for the 
FFA to travel to the National FFA Convention in Indiana.

Written and oral reports were presented to the Board by Principals Daugherty 
and Smith and Tara Gorman for UJHS Science and Technology.  
Superintendent Rockhold gave a presentation on a  Bully Policy.
 
Motion was made by Coyan, seconded by Wilkinson, to appoint Terry
Nading as Board of Education replacement for District Four (4).
Motion passed 4-0.

Motion was made by Coyan, seconded by Oharah, to adjourn the meeting.
Motion passed 4-0.

Meeting adjourned at 8:27 p.m.
