Hard Work Pays Off

Darcy has just completed a walnut gun rack. With the price of walnut rising all the time, Darcy decided to bring some wood in from home. She took two old looking boards and planed them down and made a beautiful project, "As with any student she got tired of sanding and working but in the end when she looks back at her gun rack I really think she can be proud of what she accomplished," said Mr. Tourtillott.
Sam has just completed his first major project. Rather than start with something small as a first year student, Sam had bigger ideas. Sam worked very hard and put in lots of hours to create this octagon poker table with padded rails and cup holders. "Sam proved to be patient while working on this project as it proved to be very long and tedious. It's nice to see a student's face when they realize they have assembled the last piece and their project is done," said Mr. Tourtillott.
