Our Snowman looks good enough to eat.

Four Year Old Class Builds Snowman

The four-year-old preschool class recently spent some library time reading “Snowmen at Night”,  by Carolyn Buehner..The book questions why snowmen sometimes look a bit ‘worn out’ a few days after they have been built.  As the story goes, the snowmen must have some fun activities that they do while people sleep at night.

Where are his arms?

After students shared the understanding that what really happens to snowmen is called melting, the class built their own snowmen that wouldn’t melt. They used marshmallows, pretzel sticks, candy pieces, and icing to form a snowman.
