Sixth Grade Class

At WBE we have a choir called Singing Eagles. It is a 5th and 6th grade choir. Our amazing teacher, Mrs. Allen, helps us sing better and learn how to use our voices. We get to go to a lot of fun competitions and we have a Christmas and a Spring program. Mrs. Allen is nice, funny, and an amazing singer. We get to learn a lot of fun songs. I love Singing Eagles.

Walking is a good way to stay fit, and here at WBE, we walk every morning to stay fit. We walk twenty to twenty-five minutes before we go to our classrooms. We walk one way and then we turn around and walk the other way. This is a great way to get ready for our day at WBE.

When you wake up in the morning, you get out of your pajamas and put on your school clothes, which are usually jeans, a nice shirt, and a jacket. Not for WBE, we have fun dress up days. Like on January 29, we had Ninja Day! It was a blast! We have other dress up days too. For instance, Pajama Day, Fashion Disaster Day, Favorite Team Day, and What You Want to be When You Get Older Day. If you like fun dress up days, you would love WBE. WBE is a great and fun school.

Can you spell entomophagous? Maybe you can, maybe you can’t. The Scripps National Spelling Bee is getting close. You start in a classroom spelling bee. If you win that, you would go to the WBE school spelling bee. After that you may have a chance at your county spelling bee. Are you able to get to the state spelling bee and win? If you do, you’ll get to the nationals. There is not a level higher than the nationals. You would make WBE very proud.
