Achievement Card Program

There are three cards a student can earn: gold, orange, or black. The requirements are based on the previous nine week period. They are only valid for the nine week period immediately following.

Orange
* 3.1-3.74 GPA
* no detentions or disciplinary referrals to the office
* 2 or fewer absences
* no missing homework assignments
excused for lunch 2 minutes early on Wednesday & Friday
2 homework punches
eligible for drawing at the end of the 9 weeks
eligible for monthly reward activity
Black
* 2.25-3.09 GPA or perfect attendance
* no detentions or disciplinary referrals to the office
* 2 or fewer absences
* passing all classes
* no missing homework assignments
excused for lunch 2 minutes early Friday
1 homework punch
eligible for drawing at the end of the 9 weeks
eligible for monthly reward activity
Cards can be revoked during the nine week incentive period for the following reasons:
* referral to the office for disciplinary reasons
* detentions or suspensions
* more than four absences in a 9 week period
* falsifying your card
* loaning your card
New cards are issued each nine weeks. Each card will have your name, an expiration date, and a school stamp. New cards will not be issued until the old cards have been turned in.
Students who earn a card and keep the card for each grading period will qualify for an end of the year incentive field trip.
Students must score at proficient or above on each Kansas assessment as well as meet above listed requirements to be eligible for a card the first nine weeks of each year.
