UNIONTOWN, KAN - USD 235 Uniontown Schools continues to work closely with Kansas Department Health and Environment (KDHE) and the Bourbon County Health Department regarding the Coronavirus. While there are no confirmed cases in Kansas, the district is being proactive in partnership with local health agencies.

"Our student and staff safety is always our priority. The CDC has stated that at this time that the Coronavirus is not currently spreading in our communities in the United States. We will continue to monitor the situation as well as follow our standard flu season procedures. We encourage our community to stay informed by the Kansas Department Health and Environment (KDHE) and the Bourbon County Health Department."  - Mr. Bret Howard

USD 235 follows daily sanitizing practices in our buildings, encourages healthy hand washing habits in our staff and students, and will continue to make every effort to keep our classrooms and buildings to be the best learning environment for our Eagles.  USD 235 is also spraying our building and classrooms weekly with a hospital grade disinfectant in addition to our daily sanitizing practices.
