For more than 30 years, March has been officially designated by the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) for the observance of Music In Our Schools Month (MIOSM). The purpose of MIOSM is to raise awareness of the importance of music education for all children.
In celebration of MIOSM, UHS musicians are planning a Family Music Night on Tuesday, March 17th from 5:00-8:30pm in the UHS Commons Area. There will be various music-related activities in which to participate, and then we will watch the movie "Sing." There is no cost to participate in Family Music Night, but there will be refeshments available to purchase.
