"Due to COVID-19, the administration and football staff at USD 235 have made the difficult decision to cancel our football game at Olpe this Friday. It is with a humble recognition that many teams across our state have also been faced with the same decision and chose to forgo their wants for the needs of students and communities and we have resolved to do the same.
We will continue to follow the guidelines received from our County Health Department and the Kansas State High School Activities Association to implement the best practices to keep everyone as safe as possible. It will be through our efforts that we will be able to continue onsite learning and move forward into our winter sports responsibly."
