STRATEGIC PLAN - USD 235 UNIONTOWN

Uniontown USD 235 has created a Strategic Plan to help guide the district forward over the next 3-5 years.

The Strategic Plan was created with the help of the Southeast Kansas Educational Service Center located in Greenbush. Three members of Greenbush travelled to Uniontown four different times to work with Administrators, Board Members, and the Strategic Planning Committee. Members of Greenbush helping leading the discussions were Randy Corns, Executive Director of Greenbush; Steve Parsons, School Consultant; and Tonya Smedley, School Improvement Services.

The Strategic Plan Committee was comprised of 39 members representing parents, grandparents, community members, business owners, teachers, retired teachers, students, administrators, and board members.

The notes of the first meeting with the Committee as well as the 3 goals that were created to make up the Strategic Plan are found on the website under the link named USD 235 Strategic Plan.

Thank you to Greenbush and members of the Strategic Plan Committee for your input and help in creation of this plan.

The USD 235 Board of Education approved the plan with a 7-0 vote at its regularly monthly meeting on Monday, November 11.
