Members of the UHS Band & Choir traveled to Southeast High School on Wednesday, February 19th to participate in the Three Rivers League (TRL) Music festival. All students performed as a member of at least one small ensemble. Several students also chose to prepare and perform a solo work.

Receiving a "II" (Excellent) rating: Low Wind Trio (Jacquie Hampton, Sivanah McAnulty, and Matthew Benson), Flute/Clarinet Trio (Becky Goebel, Gwen Fry, and Destiny Muniz), Kolby Martinez vocal solo, and Genesis Walker vocal solo.

Receiving a "I" (Outstanding) rating: Mixed Vocal Quartet (Kolby Martinez, Donavan Beerbower, Cheyanne Carpenter, and Allyson Chamberlin), Women's Vocal Ensemble (Jacquie Hampton, Morgan Coulter, Cheyanne Carpenter, Jes Peck, Allyson Chamberlin, Hailley Roach, Tiffany Corriston, Kaytlin Herring, and Genesis Walker), F Horn Quartet (Luke George, Aiden Holt, Breisen Keller, and Addie Martin), Saxophone/Trumpet/Percussion Quartet (Kolby Martinez, Libby Franks, Drew Holt, and Kera Lawrence), Jacquie Hampton vocal solo, Gwen Fry clarinet solo, and Libby Franks trumpet solo.

Congratulations to our student-musicians on their stellar performances; they represented Uniontown well! The next opportunities to perform their solos and/or small ensembles will be at KSHSAA Regional Solo and Small Ensemble festival at Independence Community College on Saturday, March 28th, and the Evening in Fine Arts on Tuesday, April 7th at Uniontown.
