New COVID Guidelines for Uniontown USD 235 beginning on Wednesday, January 19
We were given new information and guidance today from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) and the Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE) regarding COVID-19 and attending school.
It is still very important that we are diligent over the next several weeks. Our cooks are doing their best on a limited staff. If we would have bus drivers not be able to drive we would not be able to offer bus routes. We literally still only have one substitute driver.
I hope everyone understands how short-handed we are regarding substitutes of any kind. It is just extremely difficult to fill spots for staff members that are gone due to illness.
