Notice: Due to road construction on Maple from Highway 3 to the school district, we are asking that any parents planning to pick up their children plan to do so by using a route that doesn't include this section of roadway. At dismissal from 3:30-3:40, traffic will only be permitted to travel Westbound. Alternate routes that aren't in the construction would include the use of 85th from Hwy 54 or 1st street from Hwy 3.

Please join Uniontown FFA on Saturday, November 1st for their annual Trunk or Treat event!
Local businesses, community members and school groups are always needed to jump in with a trunk and give out candy. Please text Mr. Sutton at 620-224-4953 if you want to participate.

1. Uniontown FFA will be gone to National Convention October 27th through October 31st.
2. UHS Football is scheduled to have a game on October 31st.
Lady Eagles finish 3rd place at Girard 9 hole tournament today. Bailey Cox was 7th individually. Good job ladies! Back on the course next Thursday in Erie for a 3 person scramble format.
Another item the UHS Booster Club takes care of is purchasing Senior banners for student athletes. Thank you Abbie Powell for coordinating the design and ordering of the banners. The great price she found on these allowed us to pay for them in full versus asking parents to chip in like in years past!
Check them out tomorrow night at the home football game and Saturday at the volleyball tournament!

SENIORS - Tomorrow, Friday, October 3rd, is the ASVAB test at 8:00 in the morning. Please come prepared with your computer charged. Also, at 1:00, Sarah Smith from FSCC will be here to discuss FAFSA and financial aid information that would be helpful to know for next year if you are considering going to any college or trade school. SENIOR PARENTS - Sarah Smith will be back out BOTH nights of parent teacher conferences to also provide the same help and assistance that you might have for your child. Those conferences will be from 4 to 8 on Monday, October 13th and Wednesday, October 15th.
Eagle Fans, your Lady Eagles are Hosting their mid season tournament on Oct 4th starting at 8:30 AM. See the schedule to come out and support them!

October 14th- Volleyball, Cross Country and Golf Senior night at WBE during volleyball games.
October 17th- Football, Cheer and Special Olympics senior night at the football game.

Kinsley Harris was also crowned the SE District FFA Creed Speaking Champion! She will represent the Southeast district at the state contest in May! 
Brayden Russell also won the FFA Spelldown Contest! Similar to a spelling bee, he had to outlast 27 other FFA members from other schools to win this award!
This marks the 4th year in a row Uniontown FFA has won the district Greenhand Conference!
We also took members of our livestock judging team and vet science team to present at the CDE fair that was a part of Greenhand Conference.
Bailey Cox finishes in 5th place at Home Varsity Tournament today. Zoey Blanchett also played coming up a little short of the medals. Team will travel to Girard on Thursday at 3:00.

Congrats to Ella Shelton and Gaige Lape, your UHS 2025 Fall Homecoming King & Queen, as well as the rest of this accomplished group of seniors.
Eagles played at Erie today and finished 5th out of 9 teams participating. Bailey Cox finished in 10th place individually. Girls will be on the course again Monday. Hailey Shadden had a personal best 16th place finish and Zoey Blanchett and Madison Hartman finished off the team score today.
