The Uniontown FFA Freshman Parliamentary Procedure team is your 2025 Kansas FFA State Champion in the Conduct of Chapter Meetings contest!!!
The team competed on Wednesday in Manhattan, Kansas on the campus of Kansas State. In the contest the team had to perform FFA Opening and Closing Ceremonies, perform a parliamentary procedure demonstration, take an exam testing their knowledge of par-law, and answer oral questions from the judges.
The team was crowned on the Kansas FFA State Convention stage Wednesday evening. With this victory, Uniontown FFA has earned the opportunity to represent Kansas at the National FFA Comvention in Indianapolis, Indiana this fall!

Softball Regionals will be Played 5/19 & 5/20 At Oswego. Our lady Eagles are the Number one Seed & will take On Crest @ 1:00 on the 19th. Good Luck Ladies !!!!
Updated GIRLS summer weights and conditioning information for junior high and high school student-athletes:
Summer weights and conditioning will now take place:
Monday-Friday : 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM. We will meet each day at the fitness center, which sits just East of the commons.
Volleyball skill work will still take place on Mondays from 8:00-9:00 AM and basketball skill work will still take place on Tuesdays from 8:00-9:00 AM. Those participating in VB and BB skill work will be excused early from weights to attend.
Several girls with summer jobs had expressed a desire to move the times earlier and we hope this adds flexibility to everyone’s schedule.
We look forward to a summer of hard work and progress!

The Uniontown Baseball team will host 2 Quarter final Games tomorrow ,5/14 Starting @ 2:30; Game 1 will be Oswego & St. Paul. The Eagles will play the Winner of that Contest.

Future UHS and UJH students: I hope you are enjoying your last day of school today, and I know some of you are anxiously awaiting your schedules for next year. However, at this time, rather than rush to get it done and risk having it be inaccurate, it is best if the schedules come out closer to enrollment time after the administrators and myself have had a chance to discuss all the options that are best for students. Thanks for your patience! Hopefully you have a great summer, and this gives you something to look forward to in July! :)
The UHS JV Baseball Team will Play FS JV tomorrow following the FS VBB Game with Parsons which Starts at 4:30. The JV game will Start 20 Minutes After the Varsity game ends

Uniontown FFA Meat Judging Team is state runner-up, Livestock Judging Team finishes 3rd Overall
The Uniontown FFA Meat Judging Team competed at the Kansas FFA State Meat Judging contest in Manhattan, Kansas on Sunday, May 4th, 2025 on the campus of Kansas State University. After judging six placing classes, identifying thirty retail meat cuts, answering questions over two placing classes and grading six beef carcasses, the team was named the Reserve State Champion at the awards ceremony on Tuesday, May 6th. Sophomore Kole Harris was 4th high individually, Juniors Jewel Endicott, Maria Cibrian and Klara Stock were 5th, 10th and 15th overall respectively. This marks the 7th top 3 finish for Uniontown FFA in the state meat judging contest in the past 9 years. Uniontown FFA won state championships in 2018 and 2021, and brought home state runner-up status in 2017, 2019, 2023 and 2025. With the finish, Uniontown qualified to represent Kansas FFA at the National Western Meat Judging Contest that will be held in January of 2026 in Denver, Colorado.
The Uniontown FFA Livestock Judging Team brought home the title of 3rd Overall at the Kansas FFA state Livestock Judging contest. The contest was also held in Manhattan, Kansas at the Riley County Fairgrounds. Each contestant judged 8 classes of livestock and gave oral reasons on three of the classes. Kole Harris had the best outing placing 11th individually overall and 4th in oral reasons. Klara Stock finished 18th individually. Jace Harvey and Marley Sutton were also on the team. Uniontown qualified for and will represent Kansas FFA at the National Western Livestock Judging contest in Denver, Colorado in January of 2026.
Both teams are coached by Uniontown FFA Advisor Scott Sutton.
UHS BB/SB Games are Cancelled for today due to wet fields.
Both Teams will Be back in Action Monday at Crest Starting at 3:30
The Softball Girls will also host Central Heights Tuesday .with the Time yet to be Agreed upon & posted here as soon as determined.

High School Awards will be at 8:30 Wednesday morning in the High School gym. Junior High awards will be later in the day at 2:30 in the High School gym.
