I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my sincere gratitude for your active participation in the recent bond election. While the election results may not have been what I hoped for, your involvement has not gone unnoticed.
As we move forward, it is important for you to know that we value and respect the decision that has been made. From the election results, we understand that the proposed solutions may not have aligned with the community's current priorities and we deeply desire the valuable feedback you possess.
In light of the election outcome, the school district will take this opportunity to reassess the proposed plans and will continue to actively seek input from the community. Your voices matter, and we are committed to finding solutions that are both feasible and reflective of the collective vision for the future of our schools.
We appreciate your ongoing support and encourage you to stay engaged in the process. Your input is crucial as we work together to shape the direction of our educational community. We are confident that, with your involvement, we can find innovative and effective solutions that benefit everyone.
Once again, thank you for your participation in the bond election. We look forward to continuing this journey together as we strive to provide the best possible educational experience for our students.
Sincerely,
Vance Eden
Superintendent

The proposed USD 235 Bond Issue qualifies for State-Aide. If our bond is approved, the State will pay for 32% of the overall cost. If approved, the district will also apply for FEMA funding related to the storm shelters. If awarded, it would cover 50% of the cost of those storm shelters at WBE and UJH/HS.
