Freshman Mason Tourtillott places 2nd Individually at the Fort Scott JV golf tournament with a personal best 40. The Eagles had 7 boys competing including Owen Brown, Gus Welch, Austin Maycumber, Ty Shelton, Trace Russell, and Joseph Robinson. The team finished 7th of 10. Varsity boys will be on the course in Columbus tomorrow at 1:00. Keep up with scores at prep.golf online

JHL Track update. As of now if the weather cooperates, field events will start at 3:30pm with running events at 5:00pm

HS Track is delayed as of now due to severe thunderstorm warning. All athletes are in the gym for safety

This week's happenings!

Some UHS Digital Media students were honored at the Pittsburg State Crimson Creative Awards tonight. In the Graphic Design category, Alyson Pulliam received a Silver and Konrad Pilipiec earned a Gold. In Photography, Levi Ervin received a Silver, while Olivia Hickman and Reagan Whisenhunt were awarded Gold. Ash Sporleder earned FOUR Gold medals and a Judge's Choice Award for her Photography entries!

USD 235 will have drinking water available to students as needed. That said, if you have bottled water that you can send for your student(s), we would appreciate your help in managing this need.

Uniontown FFA Meat Judging Team excels at the Midwest Invitational on the campus of Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma. 🏆Champion Team Overall🏆 Jewel Endicott led the way as the 3rd High Individual overall in the contest. Maria Cibrian, Kole Harris and Klara Stock all finished in the top 20 to help push the team to a first place finish. Uniontown FFA also had the 3rd 🥉 place team overall in the contest. That team was led by Hailey Shadden and MaKinlee Bloesser who finished 7th and 9th respectively. Kendyl Bloesser and Marley Sutton were both in the top 15. This team was only 2 points out of 2nd place to last year's Oklahoma State Champion Meat Judging team. This is the final competition leading up to the state contest that will be held in Manhattan, Kansas at Kansas State University May 3-5.

JV Golf for Today in Girard is CANCELLED with no make-up date.

On Wednesday, April 15th, the Science Olympiad teams traveled to Dogwood Canyon with twenty-four students. These individuals had the opportunity to go on a guided nature hike, learning about all the native plants, trees, animals, fossils, and rock structures. Students were given opportunities to explore on their own by hiking the trails, riding bikes, or walking. It was such a beautiful day for students to learn and enjoy!

To make this as smooth as possible, you will need to be able to sign into the Parent Portal at https://usd235.powerschool.com/admin/home.html or use the PowerSchool Mobile app available both for Apple and Android devices.

JV Baseball will be at 2:30pm at Uniontown as scheduled

JV Softball is being moved to Moran at 2:30pm. There will be no concessions at Moran.

Dear Families,

We are closely monitoring the weather forecast for this afternoon, Wednesday, April 15.

At this time, our Afterschool Program will remain open as scheduled. However, because the safety of our students and families is our top priority, we encourage any parents with concerns to sign their students out early.

If you choose to pick up your child early, please follow our standard check-out procedures through the After School program directors. Thank you for your continued flexibility as we navigate the spring weather together!
