Dear West Bourbon Elementary School Families,
As we prepare for our upcoming Valentine's Day festivities, I kindly remind you of our classroom food-sharing guidelines. To ensure the safety of all students, please bring only prepackaged items from a manufacturer or a commercially licensed kitchen. All food items must remain in their original, sealed packaging until they are ready to be served.
I would also like to request that parents refrain from sending Valentine's Day gifts that may cause distractions or extra work for our staff. Balloons, flowers, and bulky items can be challenging to transport and manage during school hours. Your attention to this matter is greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
Warm regards,
Dustin Miller

On Saturday, January 31st, the small group of Uniontown Forensics students attended the Iola Tournament where the following students participated:
Lillyan Robinson: Impromptu Speaking, Impromptu Duet Acting, and Original Oration (a persuasive speech she wrote herself on how procrastination can be a good thing)
Renee Robinson: Original Oration (her speech was on why everyone should experience 4-H)
Austin Maycumber: Impromptu Speaking, Impromptu Duet Acting, and Humorous Solo Acting
Both Lilly and Renee place in the middle range.
Lilly and Austin place in the top 11 with their Impromptu Duet Acting skits
Austin placed 3rd overall (only 1st and 2nd qualified for state) with his Humorous Solo Acting.
Next stop is Independence, KS on February 14th. Tell them to "break a leg!"
