Uniontown USD 235 - Winning by Education

The UHS Booster Club is proud to support our Special Olympic athletes! We purchased insulated water bottles for each athlete competing in Special Olympic events this school year. Each bottle had the athletes name and the Eagle logo etched on them! Wednesday we presented the JH/HS athletes with their bottles right before they left for a Cornhole competition! We also delivered a handful of water bottles to WBE for the athletes competing at the elementary level. Thank you to all of our booster members for helping us make this possible with your donations! On Friday, October 10th, our Physics class had the opportunity to participate in Ducommun Manufacturing Day in Parsons, Kansas. As a leader in the Aerospace and Defense industry, Ducommon supports community-based Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) programs and initiatives that nurture and develop the next generation of innovators, thinkers, and technicians.

Just a reminder that Sarah Smith, the Financial Aid Director at FSCC, will be at UHS from 4 - 8 tonight (Monday, October 13th) and Wednesday (October 15th). Feel free to stop in and visit with her about any questions you might have about scholarships, FAFSA, or other financial related college issues.

Congrats to our 8th-grade Q1 Speed Typing Champion — David Hall! 🏆
David's best score was 55 WPM at 97% accuracy.

The competition isn’t over yet — the 8th graders will keep battling it out in Quarter 2, and a few are right on his heels. Presley Rice came in a close second with 54 WPM at 97% accuracy. Way to go!

Uniontown FFA is sponsoring a FREE tailgate for anyone and everyone prior to next Fridays home game versus Pleasanton on 10-17-25.

Next Week's Happenings

Winter Sports Parent Meeting will be held during Parent Teacher Conferences, Oct 15th at 6pm in the High School Gym. This is for JH basketball, JH wrestling, HS basketball, and HS wrestling.

If you are interested in checking out the newly remodeled Ag building at UHS come by and see us! Information is on the attached flyer.

Notice: Due to road construction on Maple from Highway 3 to the school district, we are asking that any parents planning to pick up their children plan to do so by using a route that doesn't include this section of roadway. At dismissal from 3:30-3:40, traffic will only be permitted to travel Westbound. Alternate routes that aren't in the construction would include the use of 85th from Hwy 54 or 1st street from Hwy 3.
