UPDATE!!! Softball Jamboree is back on!!!! We were able to move the softball jamboree to Uniontown. The new schedule will be posted once changes are made to help the other schools. Start time will still be at 1pm.

" Unfortunately, due to the rain we received last night we are having to cancel the Jamboree held at St. Paul. We regret having to inform you of this cancellation, but our field is too wet to be worked and/or dry out by tomorrow. We will not be rescheduling the jamboree. :

This Week's Happenings

Eagles fell short in double overtime 74 to 73 to Douglass. This team played their hearts out!

UJH eighth grader Theron Atkins is our new Speed Typing record holder! Theron’s best one-minute typing test score to date is 75 words per minute with 95% accuracy. This breaks the previous 8th-grade record of 74 wpm @ 95% accuracy. Way to go, Theron!

On Friday, February 27th, there were seventeen students who travelled to Burlington, Kansas, to compete at the KidWind Challenge. This opportunity is a fun way for students to explore the power of wind by building and testing wind turbines and then competing in a supportive environment.

Driver's Ed parent meeting will be held on March 11th at 6:30 pm at the high school. This is the first night of parent-teacher conferences. The meeting will discuss the expectations of the students, cost, dates of sessions, etc. There are DE forms in both offices at the JH/HS at this time. I will have more forms at the meeting. Uniontown FFA had a great day at the Kansas State University Invitational Meat Judging Contest! 25 teams and 115 contestants competed from multiple states.
