Yesterday, the UHS Band traveled to Mission Valley High School in Eskridge, KS to participate in a matching band competition. They performed their field show, which if you would like to see, will be performed again tomorrow night at halftime of the UHS varsity football game against Lyndon. This festival was only for small bands with fifty or fewer members, and they weren't the smallest band in attendance! We left the school very early and it was a little chilly, but they performed well and had a lot of fun cheering for the groups who performed after us.

Re: Fitness Center Availability
USD 235 Patrons,
At the current time, the Fitness Center will not be open to the public. For safety of our wrestlers, Uniontown USD 235 is allowing the JH Wrestlers to practice in the Fitness Center. The HS Wrestlers will also be practicing in the Fitness Center when their season begins.
The Fitness Center will return to regular hours at the conclusion of the wrestling season. We understand this is an inconvenience for some of our patrons and hope to be able to find a different practice facility for our wrestlers in the near future.

Our school bus drivers transport our most precious cargo – our children. Join us today on School Transportation Appreciation Day by thanking them, and every other individual who gets our kids safely to and from school.

At our October 22nd home game, each football player, cheerleader, and band member will be wearing a piece of colored athletic tape around their wrist to represent a family or community member who has battled cancer. In conjunction with this event, UHS StuCo will host a fundraiser this week with all proceeds to be donated to Care to Share. Students can purchase special Post-it notes in the UHS office that will be used to cover the doors of participating teachers' classrooms. The door with the most Post-its by the end of the week earns students a "free day" in that room on Monday, October 25th. Let's rally for a great cause, Eagles!
