I've always enjoyed reading books written by or about Coach John Wooden. Here are 2 quotes from Coach Wooden I enjoy.
1) While you can’t control what happens to you, you can control how you react. – John Wooden
2) Mistakes come from doing, but so does success. – John Wooden

In today's edition of "FFA Members Learn by Doing" we feature junior FFA member Braden Griffiths.
Braden rebuilt the carburetor, replaced the ignition coil and spark plug, and changed the oil on his family's garden tiller.
Shortly after he tilled up a garden plot. You also have to appreciate the gym shorts with cowboy boot look! Nice work Brado!
Congratulations to Jake Harvey for being selected to the SEK-Sports.com 2020 All-Region Boys Basketball Team. The Girls Team will be released next week.

Today is National Paraprofessional Day. We miss not seeing all of your smiling faces at USD 235, and we know you miss all the students you serve on a daily basis. Please know you are appreciated for all you do.
Papa Don's (Fort Scott) posted this on their FB page:
We are trying something new tonight with our deliveries. Bringing curbside to Uniontown Square at 7pm! Call in no later than 6pm on Wednesdays (cash, check or pay by phone). Give us a call at 223-4171 for more information.
Shoutout to senior Colt Eck and sophomore Bryce Eck on completing the fabrication of this big square bale feeder on their own during this past week!! He already has an order for 3 more!! If anyone is interested in purchasing one, let me know and I can get you in touch with the boys.
Even though the school year isn’t finishing up like we all hoped, there are some cool things that will happen over the next several weeks. This is an example of that!
I’m also excited to report that Mr. Reith is all in on students doing projects that relate to their elective courses and receiving class grades for it. I will have more information on what that looks like as we begin meeting over Zoom!
