Parents: We have had an unexpected issue with a bus today (Thurs. Dec. 12). If your student rides the bus of Mark Stewart or Bugs George we will be putting those students all on one bus to be taken home after school. Your student will get home later than usual this evening.

Humboldt Basketball Tournament JV Schedule: On Thursday, December 12 the JV Boys will play against Erie starting at 4 PM in the Old Gym. The JV Girls game will immediately follow in Old Gym.
HS Varsity Basketball at Humboldt Tournament: Varsity Girls defeated Humboldt 38-33 and the Varsity Boys lost to Humboldt 67-51.
The Varsity Girls will play Erie on Thursday, December 12 at 4:00 PM at Humboldt HS. The Varsity Boys will play Erie following the Girls game.

Varsity Wrestling Results at Caney Valley Invitational Tournament : Bryce Eck & Colt Eck both placed 2nd. Zach Franklin went 2-2.
JV Results: Dawson Bollinger 1st, Kane Shepard 2nd, Joe Franklin 3rd, Rylan Lee went 2-2, Dakota Harrison went 1-3. UHS went 19-12 overall as a team on the day. Go Eagles!
6th grade is sponsoring a canned food drive for the First Missionary Baptist Church here in Uniontown. We have set a goal to collect at least 500 cans! If you could send your child to school with nonperishable food items to his/ her classroom it would be much appreciated.

The JH Band started working on Composition Projects today. They are working in groups to write their own music they will then perform for the class!
The Body Venture Experience (provided by KSDE) took place today in the WBE gym! The WBE students got to navigate through the body system, stopping along the way to listen to UHS Science students share information about the different parts. It was a great learning experience!
