Uniontown hosted 11 area schools today for a. 9 hole golf tournament. The Eagles finished in 4th place as a team and had 2 finish in the Top 12 individually. Colby Herring shot a personal best 45 for 5th and Newt Reed a 49 for 10th place. We will travel to Erie on Monday for Varsity meet.
The Envirothon Teams competed at Regionals in Mound City yesterday.
Team # 1 consisting of Mathew Knight, Austin Maycomber, Aryonnah Beaton, Jewel Endioctt and Payton McAfee took 1st place in Wildlife, 1st place in Soils, 1st place in Current Issue and 1st place overall.
Team #2 consisting of Ziggy Barbour, Nataliah Woods, Ely Swink, Wyatt Phillips and Kaidence Womelsdorf took 3rd place overall.
Team #1 will compete at the State Envirothon on April 23. Congratuations to all of these students on their strong performance.
Special Olympics Athletes and Unified Partners competed at Girard in Bocce ball today. Jarin Clever, Kylee Knight, William Maycumber, and Colby Herring placed 1st. Adam Senkvech, Zane Barbour, and Jakob LaRoche placed 2nd.
On Friday, April 4th the C Division travelled to Wichita in preparation to compete at the State Science Olympiad Competition on Saturday, April 5. A total of seventeen students went and competed in 23 different events. Those 23 events can be classified into one of the four event types: core knowledge events, building events, laboratory/hands-on events, and hybrid events. Dylon Diebert & Hunter Johnson placed 1st in Air Trajectory, and Anthony Weyant & Hunter Johnson placed 3rd in Electric Vehicle. Overall, the team placed 6th out of the 12 small schools that competed. A small school is considered 950 or less in their high school. Our students did well, and we look forward to what next year will bring!

Ty, Adam, Ash, and Ziggy participated in the SunPowered Challenge in Witchita. Congrats to these kids for taking home the win in the "Curb Appeal" challenge. Thanks to Heartland Rural Electric for partnering with other Cooperatives to put on this challenge and to Doral Renewables for sponsoring our Uniontown team. The kids are excited to go back next year with even larger goals. Pictured, you can see those students having their design tested.

The UHS Winter Athletic Banquet for high school basketball and wrestling will be held on Tuesday, April 1st, 2025 at 6:00 PM in the UHS Commons.
The Booster Club will provide a catered main course by The Outpost.
We do ask that Freshman and Sophomores bring chips and/or Queso. Juniors and Seniors please bring a fruit dish or dessert. Please bring enough to serve at least 15 people.
