For tax estimates, you can refer to the following documents. They provide scenarios for residential property, commercial property, and land.

The proposed USD 235 Bond Issue qualifies for State-Aide. If our bond is approved, the State will pay for 32% of the overall cost. If approved, the district will also apply for FEMA funding related to the storm shelters. If awarded, it would cover 50% of the cost of those storm shelters at WBE and UJH/HS.
If you have questions about the tax implications of the November 7th Bond, please use the following video to calculate your estimate. If you have questions or need help, please reach out to Vance Eden.

We are excited about the possibility of adding a construction trades program at Uniontown if Proposition Two passes on November 7th.

Proposition One replaces the entrance at WBE. Years of use have created a scenario where the current doors no longer reliably function as they should despite frequent maintenance and repair.

Here is a good overview video regarding Proposition One.

After a 14-year hiatus, The Talon Newspaper has returned! The nine UHS students in Digital Media Design and Production class are very excited to have you check out our first issue here: https://tinyurl.com/Talon-Oct2023

Projections indicate that inflation will continue to drive the costs of renovation up. This means that doing the work now will be less expensive than addressing it in years to come.

Proposition 2 would update and upgrade the current agriculture sciences classroom and metal shop while also bringing a new construction trades shop.

If you haven't yet provided feedback for the development of the Uniontown School District's 5-Year Strategic Plan, please take just a few minutes to do that now. This Friday is the last day we will take those submissions.

The Uniontown FFA senior and junior meat evaluation teams recently had the unique opportunity to compete side by side with collegiate meat judgers in a large commercial packing plant at the American Royal Youth Meat Judging Contest.
The American Meat Science Association held the inaugural youth contest on Sunday, October 15th at Nebraska Beef in Omaha, Nebraska.
The senior team consisting of Byron Fry, Brycen Stewart, Addisyn Hall and Klara Stock finished 6th overall and 5th in the Questions division.
The junior team consisting of Hailey Shadden, Marley Sutton, Kendyl Bloesser and Makinlee Bloesser finished 6th overall and 5th in the Retail ID division.
The competition was stiff as the eventual National 4-H champion and reserve champion teams (Kansas and Texas) were at the contest along with teams from Oklahoma, Virginia and a second team from Texas.

The following drawing indicates the scope of work that the bond issue would have at West Bourbon Elementary. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out.
