The Uniontown Lady Eagles are the 4-seed in the 2A Erie Basketball Sub-State and will host Cherokee-Southeast HS on Tuesday, February 28 in Uniontown (WBE Gym) at 7:00 PM. Good luck ladies! Come out and support your Lady Eagles!

The SEK Multi-County Health Department will be offering FREE vaccinations on 3/20/2023. If your student is due for a vaccination, he or she will be sent home with a consent form on Friday, Feb 24. Congratulations to Trent Eck and Colby Hueston for qualifying for the 3-2-1A State Wrestling Meet.
Trent placed 3rd in the 132lb weight class and Colby placed 3rd in the 190lb weight class at 3-2-1A Regional Tournament at Marion High School today.

Kindergarten Roundup is scheduled for Monday, March 20, 2023. If you have a student who will be 5 before August 31, please sign up at https://tinyurl.com/WBEKindergartenRoundup, scan the QR code or call 620-756-4335 to set up a time to bring your child in for the assessment and screening. For the best testing environment for your child, we ask that you not bring little brothers or sisters.
Parents of current WBE preschool students should plan to attend a 15 minute session to go over pre-screened findings and meet the teachers.
Students who will be new to WBE will sign up for a 30 minute slot to be assessed on March 20. Please bring in your child’s birth certificate and immunization record. The agenda for the child will include kindergarten skills assessment, vision, hearing, speech, and checking health records.
Kindergarten children are required to have a physical exam within 12 months of beginning school and have all current immunizations. The Bourbon County Health Department will be onsite to complete these for your convenience. Students that have incomplete records will not be allowed to start school until their records are complete.
Due to the screenings, there will be no Kindergarten class on March 20th.
We are also accepting preschool applications for the 2023-24 school year. To be eligible, students must be 4 by August 31. Call 620-756-4335 to request an application.
The Uniontown Eagles played a great first half but were unable to keep pace with Southeast Cherokee in the second half this evening at home in a Three Rivers League contest. The Eagles lost 64-32.

We are highlighting another Student Project this week. Tyler Reed just finished this cat litter box bench for his sister. He has worked very hard on it and it looks amazing. I tried to get him to be in the picture but he declined. Hands on learning at its finest.
We are very proud of our active JH scholars bowl teams this season.
The B Team has had a very good year so far, placing
3rd at our JH Invitational Virtual Meet ,
1st at the Marmaton Valley Invitational In-Person Meet,
1st at the Jayhawk Linn Virtual Scholars Meet,
and 1st at the Northeast Invitational Virtual Meet on February 9th.
