USD 235 Winter sports Parent Meetings will be held Monday March 3rd in the High School at 6:00 PM. Parents Please Plan to attend to Meet with Coaches. They will be Covering Rules , Goals & Expectations for the season. They will also address Questions you may have. Eagle Pride

The USD 235 Bond Proposal would not raise taxes.
Kindergarten Roundup Coming in March
A screening clinic for 2025-2026 kindergarten students has been scheduled for Monday, March 24 at West Bourbon Elementary. To be eligible for kindergarten, your child must be 5 years old on or before August 31, 2025.
Students who will be new to WBE will sign up for a 30 minute slot to be assessed on March 24. Please bring in your child’s birth certificate and immunization record. The agenda for the child will include kindergarten skills assessment, vision, hearing, speech, and checking health records.
Parents of current WBE preschool students should plan to attend a 15 minute session to go over pre-screened findings and meet the teachers.
Kindergarten children are required to have a physical exam within 12 months of beginning school and have all current immunizations. The Girard Medical Center is available for immunizations and physicals; if you would like to contact them for a coinciding appointment call 620-756-4111.
Due to the screenings, there will be no Kindergarten class on March 24th.

The USD 235 Bond proposal will prioritize 3 projects. Remove the PreSchool Modulars and replace them with a permanent structure, address the WBE entry and make it ADA compliant, and upgrade the JH/HS fire alarm to include smoke detection and automated notification of emergency services.
On Saturday, February 22nd the Science Olympiad teams traveled to Andover to compete in regionals. There were a total of twenty-six students who competed in the B & C Division. The following is how individuals placed.

Uniontown's 2025 Winter Homecoming will be held this Friday, February 21st at 5:30 pm, followed by the UHS girls and then boys basketball games hosting SCC. Candidates :
