Junior Ag students went on a "bug hunt" today as they prepare for the Entomology contest coming up on September 17th. The sunflower patch served as a great location to find several species of bugs!
JV Football Update!!!
JV game has been canceled due to the weather. The team is heading back now.
The Fort Scott Health Department will be offering flu shots to all USD235 students on 10/2/25 at 1:30. Consent forms are available in all school offices and are pictured below. In most cases, there will be no out-of-pocket costs to you. If interested, please fill out the consent form and return no later than 9/26/25.

Our lady golf team placed 2nd today at the Chanute JV tournament. Bailey Cox was 6th Zoey 11th Payton 20th Hailey shadden 26th Madison Hartman 37th of 54 golfers and 11 schools.
Come out and support our JH athletes tonight starting at 5 pm with volleyball and 6 pm with football AT HOME. If you're up to it, travel to Fredonia to watch our HS Volleyball team at 6 pm. Go Eagles!!

HS Volleyball Update: There will not be any JV games tonight at SCC. Varsity ONLY for tonight.
The Lady Eagles head to Southern Coffey County tomorrow, Sept. 2nd for a Tri with SCC and Pleasanton. The Lady Eagles will play at 6pm and 7pm since they are the closer school. Come out and support YOUR EAGLES!

Eagle Football started the season at Neodesha's Jamboree, where they faced Neodesha, Erie, and Jayhawk Linn. Eagles will face Leon Blu-Stem September 5th at home at 7 pm.

Check out the updates at the WBE playground! Concrete paint and new basketball goal were purchased with FunRun money. Mr. Woods and the UHS Art Club repainted the foursquare games and the USA map while the maintenance staff installed the adjustable goal and touched up the swing sets. The kids are loving it!
