Uniontown HS would also like to congratulate both Ian McClure and Jett Harvey for qualifying for the 2A State Track Meet and their finishes: Ian McClure - 12th in Discus and 16th in Shot Put; & Jett Harvey - 9th in 110 M High Hurdles and 12th in 300 M Intermediate Hurdles.

Friday 5/27: Jett will run his 110 HH prelims at 2:30 PM & Ian will throw the Discus at 4:45 PM. Jett will run the 300 M Intermediate Hurdles at 4:45 PM as well.
Saturday 5/28: Both Korbin and Ian will compete in the Shot Put at 8:00 AM.
Multiple Uniontown Eagles qualified for the State Track meet today with their performances at the Regional Track Meet at Lyndon today. The top 4 placers qualified for State.
Korbin Miller won the Shot Put and Ian McClure placed 4th. Ian McClure placed 2nd in the Discus with Korbin Miller placing 5th. Jett Harvey placed 2nd in the 110 M High Hurdles and also 2nd in the 300 M Intermediate Hurdles.

Pittsburg-St. Mary’s Colgan defeated Uniontown in the Regional Softball 🥎 Championship game this evening 16-4. The Lady Eagles season ended with a record of 17-6. Congratulations on a nice season ladies and coaches.
The Uniontown Lady Eagles Softball 🥎 team defeated Southeast 16-14 in the Regional Semifinals held at Cherokee-Southeast today. The Lady Eagles will face Pittsburg-St. Mary’s Colgan in the Regional Championship Game now.
St. Paul defeated Uniontown in Regional Baseball ⚾️ this evening. The Eagles season comes to an end with a record of 7-8.

The Lady Eagles Softball 🥎 team defeated Chetopa 17-0 in the Regional Quarterfinals held at Cherokee-Southeast this evening. Uniontown will face the winner of Southeast/St. Paul tomorrow in the Regional Semifinals on Tuesday, May 17, at approximately 4:00 at Cherokee-Southeast.
Uniontown is taking applications for a cook in the 22-23 school year. The position would work daily from 8:30 to 1:30. Additionally, we hope this person would consider working in our summer program during the month of June.

Students needing to recover credits from the 21-22 school year, can attend a Credit Recovery Program during the month of June. The Program will begin on Wednesday, June 1st and the final day will be Thursday, June 30th. It will run Monday-Friday from 8:00-2:00. Students can choose what schedule will work best for them....a few hours each day or several hours a couple days a week. Students will work at thier own pace until the credit(s) is recovered. This is one of the supports offered through the USD 235 partnership with Communities In Schools of Mid-America. Walmart announced a $20,000 grant to Communities In Schools of Mid-America supporting their out each in USD 234 and USD 235 schools. Communities In Schools of Mid-America partners with schools to place Student Support Coordinators in schools to help surround students and their families with the support needed for the student to stay in school and be successful. Congratulations to Uniontown Eagle Danielle Howard for being selected to play in the Kansas Basketball Coaches Association (KBCA) All-Star Game on Saturday, June 18 at Mabee Arena on the campus of Kansas Wesleyan University in Salina. The girls game is slated to tip off at 5:00.
